govCDOiq is passionate about creating connections and recognizing leaders within the U.S. federal data community. Our unique Fed Data Leaders page includes profiles of many data leaders, so others can learn about their peers in leadership and keep tabs on new appointments in data leadership roles.

We have compiled publicly available information about federal data professionals (and their deputies) in the following roles:

  • Chief Data Officers
  • Chief Data & Analytics Officers
  • Chief Artificial Intelligence Officers
  • Data Science Leaders
  • Data Architecture Leaders
  • Data Governance Leaders
  • Data Strategy Leaders

For each leader, we provide their name, agency, job title, picture (where available), brief professional bio, and links to their LinkedIn page and Professional Bio page, where available.

We invite these leaders and the entire federal data community to submit new leaders and updates to existing listings so we can maintain an authoritative leadership directory in this dynamic and growing industry.

govCDOiq’s blog features posts from leaders in federal data, analytics, and AI/ML roles, as well as thought leaders from industry and academia.

The govCDO blog has a unique focus to offer insights tailored specifically to the missions, scale, challenges, and constraints faced by federal data professionals — which their counterparts in B2C and B2B enterprises often do not share.

We are constantly looking for thought leaders and federal data professionals with practical experience to share their insights in 700-1000 word articles. We will also accept longer-form papers after careful consideration.
