ACT-IAC Annual Data Forum 2023

ACT-IAC's annual Data Forum, Nov. 15, is titled "Data Driven Decision for the Speed of Relevance – Data and Analytics Driving Mission Value."

The ACT-IAC annual Data Forum will be help Nov. 15, 2023. This year’s event, entitled “Data Driven Decision for the Speed of Relevance – Data and Analytics Driving Mission Value,” will focus on data analytics for the Enterprise, Governance, Leadership Roles for the CDO and CDAO, and Data Security and Privacy. The two keynotes are: Andre Mendes, Chief Information Officer at Commerce and Ted Kaouk, Chief Data Officer at the Office of Personnel Management.  Other invited speakers include Chris Alvares (USDA), Nilu Kundagrami (ARPA-H), Elizabeth Puchek (USCIS), Lisa Rosenmerkel (VA), along with numerous data and technology leaders from industry and other agencies.

This forum will include subject matter experts from government, industry, and academia to address the emerging data trends occurring today and in the future. The trends, successes, challenges, outcomes, and case studies will provide an in-depth view of why data is important in decision making, how it is being used with what is working, and the future plans for data use in government and industry.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Learn how government and industry are governing, exploring, and utilizing data to make future business decisions
  • Understand the impact of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other tools on data and data decisions
  • Hear what steps are being taken to ensure data privacy and security
  • Hear about the needs, issues, transparency, and access, for the workforce in the data ecosystem
