The Financial Information Management Conference will be held April 25-26 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston. This year’s conference will focus on “Financial Data Innovation,” including exploiting innovations in data analytics, data science, AI, ML and cloud. All federal agencies involved in regulating or overseeing financial institutions will likely find value in attending. Attendees in 2022 included the SEC, the New York Fed, the Treasury Department, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac.
Data management executives – from the biggest buy and sell-side firms, to retail banks and small asset managers – dedicate two days to connect with their peers for new ideas to improve data quality, innovate with data, and deliver value to the business.
Billed as the leading data management event for financial services in the US, FIMA started as a reference data management event. It has evolved over the years to cover various types of data sets to help the financial services industry remain in compliance with regulations, while shifting toward offensive data management to deliver value to the business. The FIMA agenda is built in a year-round research cycle, with a trusted advisory board of CDOs and data leaders from financial institutions who guide and vet the programming.
