This position’s primary purpose is to direct a segment of a professional, highly technical, or complex administrative program as a part of the Office of Data and Analytics (ASD), which involves the development of major aspects of key agency scientific, public health, legal, administrative, policy development programs.

According to the posting, duties for the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst include:

  • Participate within groups comprised of senior DEA and DOJ staff members, as well as senior staff members within the Intelligence Community, in the development of objectives outlining programs and issues requiring coordination and analysis.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to the total program process, program interrelationships, risk assessment, resource allocation, and program phasing and timing.
  • Executing and implementing at the Division level, operating policies, and procedures and directs the work to ensure the completion of mission and compliance.
  • Plan management study approaches and to make recommendations for policy changes and/or development of new policy required to improve efficiency, economy and balance among DEA operating programs.
