The DOD’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DCSA) is searching for an IT Specialist in Enterprise Architecture/Data Management, according to a job posting on USAJobs.gov.
This position at DCSA will be responsible for conducting analysis planning, designing and managing enterprise architecture to align technology, plans and systems to an organization’s mission; Developing and implementing enterprise architecture strategy, data management and data enterprise; and Developing Information Technology (IT) architecture standards, governance and portfolio management.
According to the posting, duties for the IT Specialist in Enterprise Architecture/Data Management include:
- Subject matter expertise regarding enterprise data architecture frameworks, data security, data management, and risk management for the Agency’s Data environment.
- Identify appropriate disaster recovery and continuity of operations requirements to include any appropriate fail-over/alternate site requirements, backup requirements, and material supportability requirements for system recover/restoration.
- Represents the Agency’s position to Federal and non-governmental national work groups, committees and other organizations seeking to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise data architecture.
- Serves as subject matter expert on enterprise data architecture in support of IT investment review, portfolio management, security design, and enterprise architecture future state planning.
- Advises senior leadership on technology investments on project costs, design concepts, or design changes of new and advanced data technologies and methods to support the Agency’s mission.
