This position serves as the Supervisory Data Analyst leading the Data Quality and Compliance Branch of the FAS Catalog Managment Office (CMO).
According to the posting, duties for the Supervisory Data Analytics Specialist include:
- Serves as primary advisor to the CMO Director on all matters related to the CMO’s data quality and compliance activities. Leads and directs appropriate actions to ensure the accuracy and long-term consistency of operational data reported to leadership.
- Serves as an expert consultant and study leader for wide ranging data analytic functions, including data enrichment, data appending, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Expedites major program initiatives for the CMO Director. Plans and directs complex projects requiring identification of a variety of advanced operational problems and development of innovative solutions and appropriate actions.
- Develops and maintains contacts among leading practitioners in the private sector and academic community in order to stay abreast of new theories and technologies. Directs and manages operations research projects, work products, procedures, policies, and operations.
- Responsible for leading the execution of all data quality and compliance related activities within the team, while coordinating with other CMO leaders, and advising higher-level managers.
