The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is searching for an IT Specialist in Data Management, according to a job posting on USAJobs.gov.
This position is in NARA’s Enterprise Data Management Division (IM), which is responsible for planning, directing and administering NARAs enterprise data management programs, policies, systems, and services. The IM group controls and improves the efficiency of processes associated with the identification, collection, storage, access, and reproduction of NARA’s data.
According to the posting, duties for the IT Specialist in Data Management include:
- Collaborate with technical and project personnel to select data analytics solutions that are appropriate for NARA business processes.
- Serve as a team leader or technical representative on projects related to the implementation of enterprise data analytics programs.
- Maintain liaison with, and assist NARA offices with, data/database development and update projects.
- Ensure that performance associated with data/database access and information delivery is optimal in NARA’s environment.
