The DOD‘s National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is searching for an AI Data Steward for Ontology, according to a job posting on USAJobs.gov.
The NGA’s Data and Digital Innovation Directorate serves a critical role to deliver transformative GEOINT capabilities today that provide decision advantage tomorrow. Artificial-Intelligence/Machine Learning is among the highest priorities and one of the most visible programs at NGA. DDI, as the custodian for AI/ML programs, routinely garners the attention of the D/NGA and other senior DoD and Military leaders. According to the posting, duties for the Ontology and Lexicon Standards Coordinator include:
- Lead efforts to develop and implement ontology and lexicon standards for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD).
- Coordinate across IC and DoD communities to ensure cohesive and interoperable standards, facilitating meetings, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
