According to the posting, duties for the Deputy Data Science Team Director include:
- Advises Task Force leadership on the recruitment and training of Data Science Team personnel and application of data science expertise.
- Leads studies and manages projects across multiple research and analysis domains including Natural Language Processing, graph, and anomaly detection, operational performance, programmatic optimization, talent management, and related fields.
- Integrates scientific and technological efforts with and in support of other Task Force 40-25, 1st Special Forces Command, and USASOC elements.
- Supervises other Data Science Team personnel; is prepared to act as Data Science Team Director in the Director’s absence.
