The U.S. Air Force’s Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) is searching for a Supervisory Data Management Specialist, according to a job posting on USAJobs.gov.
This position will serve as Division Chief, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over supervisory and nonsupervisory employees assigned to AFPC/DSY, and will exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over the AFPC Research, Analysis & Data Division.
According to the posting, duties for the Supervisory Data Managment Specialist include:
- Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Research, Analysis & Data Division.
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- Represents the Research, Analysis & Data Division with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- Directs and conducts a broad range of operations research analyses of comprehensive and difficult-to-define officer, enlisted, and civilian personnel programs, including unique problems requiring creativity, innovative use of techniques, application of advanced approaches, and/or new technologies.
