Andrea Gibbons

Andrea Gibbons serves as the first Chief Data Officer at AmeriCorps, where she is responsible for data management throughout the data lifecycle by establishing effective methods, standards, and controls to ensure data quality, accuracy, access, and protection. She has more than 20 years of expertise in technology management, business management, IT planning, and consulting.

Prior to this role, she served for two years as Deputy Chief Data Officer at the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. She previously held several roles in the private sector, including Manager of Data Governance at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield; Senior Lead Technologist and Enterprise Data Management Architect at Booz Allen Hamilton; and EA Project Manager/Sr. Enterprise Architect at Insignia Technology Services.

Gibbons is a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) and is a Data Literacy Program Lead at the Data Lodge. She studied Business Administration, Management Information Systems, and Finance at Creighton University.
