Laura Drummer

Laura Drummer is the Chief Data Officer for the U.S. Air Force Intelligence Community, a position she has held since Nov. 2024.

Before her current position, Drummer was founder and CDO of TAS Labs, a company that develops technology products and services to help government customers unlock data-based insights. Prior to founding TAS Labs, Drummer was director of analytics and AI for HII’s Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, and was previously head of AI product management at Alion Science and Technology. Before that, she spent 11 years at Novetta, where she was Director of Cyber and Intelligence Operations and previously Director of Software and Engineering. Early in her career, Drummer served as an intelligence analyst for the Department of Defense.

Drummer earned her M.S. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a B.A. from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She is a certified Project Management Professional and a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner.
