Margarita Brose
Margarita Brose is the Deputy Chief Data Officer at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Working with Chief Data Officer Austin Gerig, Brose oversees the SEC’s data governance program and supports the agency’s data management program.
Brose previously served for 2 years as the Agile Transformation Lead in the SEC’s Office of the COO, and led the Program and Project Management Community of Practices in the Strategic Planning and Program Management Office. She also acted as the project manager and led organizational change management for the SEC’s AWS Cloud Environment implementation. Before that, she was a program management lead in the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis.
Before joining the SEC, she had 25 years of experience in financial markets – as an enforcement attorney at the SEC and in the Risk and Compliance group at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and at IBM. She also worked at Fannie Mae and Barclays.
