Commerce Dept. Publishes Equitable Data Playbook

Dr. Shannon Arvizu, Senior Advisor to the CDO at the Department of Commerce, announced on LinkedIn that her team at Commerce has published the Equitable Data Playbook to help agencies achieve equitable program outcomes.

According to her post, the playbook will help other agencies address questions like:

• How to identify communities most in need of federal investments?
• How to design a “fit-for-purpose” data system for delivering on program goals?
• How to involve communities in your program data decisions?
