Bureau of the Fiscal Service Taps Cindy Orellana Good as Director of Data Transparency

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service (BFS) within the U.S. Department of the Treasury has named Cindy Orellana Good as Director of Data Transparency, according to her LinkedIn post.

BFS’s Office of the Chief Data Officer, led by Justin Marsico, posted a job opening in May to start the search for the Division Director of Data Transparency. The role would be responsible for leading the Fiscal Service’s data transparency program, providing accessible and useful federal financial data to the public.

Good has served at the BFS for nearly 4 years, including her prior role as Director of the Office of Financial Innovation and Transformation.  She was previously a senior program manager and DoD liaison for the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) at the U.S. Department of Commerce.  She previously held technology integration, management, and liaison roles in the U.S. Army, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the U.S. Space and Missile Systems Center, and the Peace Corps.
