Chandra Donelson Joins U.S. Space Force as Space Data Analytics Officer

As noted by CDO Magazine, Chandra Donelson was selected by the U.S. Space Force to be the new Space Data Analytics Officer.  She previously served as Deputy Chief Data Officer for the U.S. Department of the Army G-2.

In her recent LinkedIn post, Donelson wrote:

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the United States Space Force as the SDAO. As I often say, to give voice to your purpose and have the courage to live it is the single most important charge an individual can undertake, and USSF’s purpose ‘to secure our Nation’s interests in, from, and to space’ has never been more important than during the era of the Great Power Competition.”

Donelson also previously served as an OSINT Data Manager for the G2, where she led HQDA G-2 and Defense Intelligence Mission Area (DIMA) Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) portfolio modernization efforts. She earlier served as a Data and Analytics Officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Donelson is the DMV Chapter Lead for Women in Data.
