Niall Brennan, Former CMS CDO, to Support Data Modernization at CDC
As noted by OrangeSlices.com: Niall Brennan, the former Chief Data Officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS), announced on LinkedIn that he has been recruited to serve as a Senior Advisor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In his new role, Brennan will support CDC Director Mandy Cohen, focusing on CDC’s data modernization initiative. Cohen was previously the COO and Chief of Staff at CMS. Brennan will work closely with Jennifer Layden, Director of the CDC’s Office of Public Health Data, Science, Technology.
Brennan said it he was excited “to be back in government, working with Mandy again, and trying to effect positive change at scale.”
