Sanja Basaric Departs HHS AI for the DOD Chief Digital and AI Office

As first noted by OrangeSlices.ai, Sanja Basaric recently announced on LinkedIn that she is leaving her position as the AI Program Lead at the Department of Health and Human Services to begin a new role at the DoD Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office. She will apparently join the DoD CDAO team led by Craig Martell.

Basaric served as the HHS AI lead for nearly 2 years after working in private industry with SVB Consulting and Booz Allen Hamilton.  She previously also served as a Health Policy Analyst at the National Institutes of Health.
