SEC Taps Margarita Brose as Deputy CDO

As noted on OrangeSlices.ai, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has chosen Margarita Brose to serve as the Deputy Chief Data Officer. Working with CDO Austin Gerig, Brose will oversee the SEC’s data governance program and supports the agency’s data management program.

Brose previously served for 2 years as the Agile Transformation Lead in the SEC’s Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO), and led the Program and Project Management Community of Practices in the Strategic Planning and Program Management Office.  She also acted as the project manager and led organizational change management for the SEC’s AWS Cloud Environment implementation.

She has 25+ years of experience in financial markets, working in enforcement and compliance roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), IBM, Fannie Mae, and Barclays.
