SEC’s Office of the CDO announced the agency’s new Data Strategy

The SEC’s Office of the Chief Data Officer announced on LinkedIn that it has published a Data Strategy for the agency for FY 2022-2026. It communicates a vision, with goals & initiatives, to support the SEC Strategic Plan for fiscal years 2022-2026 & guide the agency’s Data Management Program.  The agency’s approach to data is described in an introductory message from SEC CDO Austin Gerig.

The Data Strategy document has four main objectives:

• Enhance the use of data assets
• Design and build an integrated data infrastructure
• Promote data awareness and literacy
• Strengthen data management and governance
