The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has embraced the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policy Making Act of 2018 to enhance data transparency and decision-making. FERC’s Open Data Plan, part of its Strategic Information Resources Management Plan, aims to make government-maintained public data openly accessible. In accordance with the OPEN Government Data Act (Title II of the Evidence Act), FERC has made its Public Data Catalog available at www.ferc.gov/data. The Public Data Catalog, a living tool, reflects the agency’s commitment to publishing high-value, transparent, and accountable data sets, fostering innovation and fulfilling strategic goals.
