The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics (OEDA) is searching for a Supervisory Statistician (Data Scientist), according to a job posting on USAJobs.gov.
OEDA provides timely, accurate, and bias-free data and information to prevent and remedy unlawful employment discrimination. The Supervisory Statistician will provide advisory services to subject matter specialists and assist staff in designing, implementing, and interpreting statistical analyses.
According to the posting, the duties of the Supervisory Statistician (Data Scientist) include:
- Serving as Director of the Information and Data Access Division within the OEDA at the EEOC.
- Supervising two team leads who are responsible for EEOC’s data governance, the management of the EEOC library, and the maintenance of data access control, including the dissemination and promotion of the use of EEOC information products.
- Managing the contract support and overseeing all matters related to EEOC’s Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Serving as a key member of the OEDA management team and participates in the day-to-day operations of OEDA, with responsibilities for preparing matters for decisions by the OEDA Director.
