NASA is seeking to hire a Deputy Director for the Information, Data and Analytics Services (IDAS) Service Line within the Office of the CIO, per a posting on USAJobs.gov. The IDAS Deputy Director will lead a diverse team responsible for leading and coordinating on enterprise data governance, infrastructure management, data analytics and visualization, enterprise search, and the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
According to the posting, the duties for the IDAS Deputy Director include:
- Leading, supervising, coordinating, and managing systems engineers, administrators, and data professionals who perform enterprise data engineering, analytics, and infrastructure developmental operations.
- Oversee, evaluate, and improve enterprise operating programs, policies, and procedures related to data engineering and infrastructure operations program activities.
- Communicate complex functional and technical requirements, issues, and value-added improvements to technical and non-technical personnel to facilitate timely responses for consideration into strategic decisions and planning.
- Integrate, collaborate, and lead program/project reviews to provide briefings to senior executives and internal/external partners at all levels.
