According to the posting, duties for the Data Scientist include:
- Prioritize efforts to address business processes, datasets, data reporting and visualization tools.
- Ensure NRL data is available, reliable, consistent, accessible, secure and timely to support the mission.
- Lead and monitor the data and analytics infrastructure and systems that provide timely and reliable information used to manage the research portfolio.
- Lead NRL-wide data working groups to align and standardize data models.
- Prepare and provide comprehensive briefings and presentations on all data related programs.
