Nilu Kundagrami is the Chief Data Officer for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), a position he started in July 2023.
Kundagrami has deep experience in healthcare information systems and enterprise technology development in the private sector, including several leadership roles on contracts to state and federal health agencies. Before joining ARPA-H, he worked as a Principal Solutions Architect supporting health and life sciences startups at Amazon Web Services. Served as the Sr. Vice President of Technology at hCentive (now Optum) and was the Head of Design and Development for CSC. He also co-founded healthcare informatics startups including Scriptulate, Vyvlo, and Tekizma.
