Patricia Stolz

Patricia Stolz is the first Chief Data Officer (CDO) for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation (DASA DE&C). She leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy to optimize Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, streamline processes, and empower data-driven decision-making.

Stolz leads a team that collaborates across the Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE) to:

• Establish a robust data governance framework ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility
• Leverage data analytics to optimize FMS cases, identify trends, and predict future needs
• Foster a data-driven culture where data insights inform strategic decisions at all levels
• Stay ahead by exploring emerging data technologies and their potential impact

Stolz has a long history of leadership supporting various mission areas. She previously served as a senior strategist for DASA DE&C, where she focused on strategies for defense exports and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. Before that, she completed the Defense Senior Leader Development Program while serving as a cyber policy advisor in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.  She also served as the Deputy for the Enhance Partner Capability Division (J54) in the Strategy, Engagement, and Programs (J5) Directorate, Headquarters, U.S. Africa Command. And she was Branch Chief for the Theater Security Cooperation Management Information System (TSCMIS) team for the U.S. Southern Command.

Stolz earned a Master of Science degree in National Strategic Studies from the National War College and a Master degree in HR Management and Services from Webster University.
