Rick Rogers

Rick Rogers is the Chief Data Officer for the Bureau of Indian Affairs within the Department of the Interior, a role he has held since early 2023.

Rogers has a long career serving both civilian and defense government organizations. Prior to his role at DOI, he served as IT Governance Branch Chief at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and previously held the same role at the National Guard Bureau. He was Cybersecurity Unit Chief for the Drug Enforcement Administration. Rogers had a 30-year career in the U.S. Navy, where he was Chief Information Officer, Information Warfare Officer, Signals Intelligence Officer, and Information Systems Technician Senior Chief Petty Officer.

Rogers earned a Masters of Information Systems and a Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
