Loren Groff

Loren Groff is designated the CDO at the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), as required by the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act of 2018. He supports agency-wide efforts to better use data for strategic decision-making. He is also responsible for the application of machine learning and advanced data science methods and techniques to support agency investigations and research, analysis, and reporting of emerging transportation safety trends.
