Shawna Teague is the Chief Data Officer for the Headquarters Air Force (HAF) A1, assuming the role in Dec. 2023. Teague leads data-centric initiatives, focusing on governance, infrastructure development, and analytics. She is responsible for steering strategic data projects that bolster operational efficiency.
In her prior role with the Air Force, she was CDO and Chief of the Research, Analytics & Data Division. She also served as Chief of the Data Services Division in the A1 Digital Transformation Activity. She worked in various intelligence and data analyst positions, and signals intelligence for companies including USAA, MCNA, Group O, ManTech, and General Dynamics. She began her career as a signals intelligence analyst in the Air Force.
According to their website, A1 provides manpower, personnel and services support to Air Force District of Washington, Headquarters Air Force and Air Force Elements in the White House, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff and Defense agencies in the National Capital Region, and around the world. This directorate also provides expeditionary combat forces for Air Expeditionary Forces capability, and wartime customer support to Air Force personnel and their families.
